“By changing nothing, nothing changes.” – That Tony Robbins quote pretty much says it all when it comes to the subject of change. It also reminds me of one attributed to Albert Einstein: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Yet how many of us do that? And what is it about change that makes some people resist it (“resistance is futile”) while others run toward it? The familiarity of the status quo and fear of the unknown, or the thrill of experiencing something new and the opportunities that changes can bring?
